Welcome to our Alaska Vacation Web site!

We had a wonderful trip out to Alaska! Madison was our little "travel trooper". She was great and enjoyed all of our adventures!

The weather was perfect. It snowed several times while we were there and the temperature ranged from 29-35 degrees. It didn't feel too cold if the wind was not blowing.

We stayed at a resort 40 miles south of Anchorage. It was a ski resort with lifts and rentals right there. We did ski some our last day and realized we should have skied more. Madison skied too and did great! She and I would ride up the bunny lift and ski down the bunny hill together. It was a blast! I put her skis between mine and I held her up. The big mountains were neat too and Ron and I took turns.

Here is how we spent our week in Alaska:

	Day 1 We drove to Seward and took a day cruise and went to the aquarium.
	Day 2 We went to Big Game Alaska which is a where we were able to walk up and feed the animals. We saw Muscox, Bison, Sitka deer, Moose and Caribou.
	Day 3 We drove to Anchorage and went to the Alaska Zoo. It was cold and we weren't dressed for the weather!
	Day 4 We stayed around the resort, played and sled in the snow and went skiing.
	Day 5 Planes, trains, and automobiles to get home. 3 plane trips and 14.5 hours later and we are home!!
